Date: 30th of April - 3rd of May
Location: Seattle, Washington, U.S.A.
This April, EDAC members had the opportunity to attend the International Society of Autism Research (INSAR) annual scientific meeting in Seattle, Washington.
It was hugely exciting for EDAC to present a total of four posters focused on eating disorders in Autistic people at this conference. It was an amazing opportunity to meet other leading autism researchers and to spread the word about EDAC’s exciting research with an international audience. We in also recognise that it has been a particularly contentious time for the lived experience and autism research communities in the United States, and feel proud to stand beside a community of researchers who stand for ethical, co-designed autism research.
Take a look at the INSAR 2025 programme here.
Additionally, take a look at our posters here:
EDAC's poster on clinicians' experiences of eating disorder family-based therapy with Autistic young people
EDAC's poster on exploring mechanisms that lead to eating disorders in Autistic and/or ADHD people
EDAC's poster on the experiences and priorities of Autistic people with eating disorders: a photovoice study
