Date: 22nd of April - 25th of April
Location: Prague, Czech Republic
This April, EDAC members Karri and Michelle had the opportunity to take part in this year's International Society of Autism Research (INSAR) annual scientific meeting in Prague.
It was hugely exciting for EDAC to present multiple posters focused on eating disorders in Autistic people at INSAR 2026. We want to give our massive thanks to Cait Parsons from the University of Aberdeen and Jill from the University of Calgary. Both Cait and Jill are collaborating with EDAC on projects associated with our third workstream, and they were instrumental in helping EDAC present some our exciting findings surrounding brain structure and masking, as well as peer support for Autistic people with an eating disorder.
It was an amazing opportunity to meet other leading autism researchers and to continue to highlight EDAC’s exciting research with an international audience. As always, we feel proud to stand beside and within a community of researchers who stand for ethical, co-designed autism research!
