EDAC at Westminster: Collaborations in Eating Disorders Research Network Meeting

Members of the EDAC team were delighted to attend the Collaborations in Eating Disorders Research Network Meeting in London, a fantastic event co-hosted by University College London (UCL) and the Eating Disorders Research Clinical Network (EDCRN) at King's College London.

This meeting provided an invaluable opportunity to showcase progress, share learning, and discuss the future direction of eating disorder research. The event highlighted the work of projects funded through the Collaborations in Eating Disorders Research call, and fostered meaningful discussions around improving research impact, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring lived experience remains a central component to future developments.

We were particularly proud to see EDAC Co-PI Fiona present updates on EDAC, sharing insights from our ongoing work and how they have contributed to discussions on collaboration and innovation across the field of autism and eating disorder research.

The day concluded with an evening networking reception and poster showcase at the historic Palace of Westminster, providing further opportunities to build connections and explore future collaborations across the eating disorders research community.

We would like to thank the research teams at UCL and EDCRN for hosting such an engaging and inspiring event. It was a privilege to be part of these important conversations, and we look forward to continuing to work alongside colleagues across the UK to advance eating disorder research!
